The Legend of Papier Mâché.

A long time ago, when the dynasty of Ul carved its home into what would be known as the jewel of the desert, the Sultansworn rose among the rank and file as a ward against the peoples' enemies. Serving as a bulwark of justice, it was these noble knights' duty to uphold the law and deliver punishment unto those who sought to turn Belah'dia into a lawless land.

As the power of Ul'Dah grew, so did its legends. The Kingdom's royal vaults were said to hold innumerable magical artifacts -- not only to serve as a deterrent to those who may attack the city-state but to protect those against their influence.

In the present day, the Arrzaneth Ossuary, Ul'Dah's Thaumaturges' Guild, have begun to feel a dark and ominous power worm its way throughout the land of Eorzea. This power seems to whisper to those who would crave it for nefarious purposes. As a result, various undesirables have begun their search to find and claim this dangerous artifact for themselves. Only a true Paladin, pure of heart, could possibly secure this power while remaining uncorrupted by its call.

By decree of Her Majesty Nanamo Ul Namo, it is Papier Mâché's duty to search tirelessly until he secures this power and seals it away in the Royal Vault. No stone may remain unturned, and no hill remain unclimbed until this determined hero succeeds in his mission.

A leaf. He is searching for a leaf.
